Perhaps because purdue doesn't give aid to int'ls?

Purdue sounds like a delicious pie :D
But I prefer liberal arts colleges btw :)

Flibb: Purdue does give financial aid to intl students. Its merit based. I think its one of the few public school that do help intl students.

the merit aid doesn't cover even half of the total for most students, that's why.

Oh i didnt know that

I am applying to Purdue....

hey, did anyone realize that purdue has a counselor form? i looked through the website, and they mentioned the form once. haha, will a late counselor form be bad, since i already sent the application yesterday, but didn't realize that we needed a counselor form until yesterday?

If i'm not wrong counselor's forms, teacher reocommendations, etc are optional. So it doesnt matter much whether you send them late or you dont send them at all. in any case you should clarify with the university through email or call. they would be in a better position to help you.

Thanks!
i actually just checked my purdue account and they just processed my application. It appears that all they need are the application fee, transcript, and test scores. i guess the counselor form is optional, though i'll be sure to call. Merci Beaucoup!
