ok, well, im done with this post thanks to your inconsiderate/arrogant/rude remarks. How can you be in M&T when you dont even realize the perspectives of other people? Perhaps I am a highschool junior/senior who was just trying to do what everyone else does: see where he/she stands in the competition. Good Bye.

or we could just keep bumping it to the top to annoy you =)

no offense but...
"fighting online is like participating in the special olympics. even if you win, you're still retarded"

oh just great, you are preaching me about fighting online and you still manage to post an inappropriate comment regarding special disabilities people. Thats just what Penn doesnt need.

Oh No The Pc Police

Ahahaha, you guys are silly.

Euphoric potatoes are silly

just a couple of questions about M&T since most of what I've heard so far has been the same general description in the viewbook/ jerome fischer website.

I was wondering if any current M&T students had any information they could offer or tell how they like it? Just basically something that we all haven't heard already?

And just a sidenote... can anyone answer the difference between doing the M&T "joint degree" as opposed to dual degree program like liberal arts and science [engineering]?

Thanks!

The joint degree program is easier insamuch as more things double count and they shave off some requirements. There are also some required courses, and you get to use M&T connections, and write M&t down on your resumes.

as far as info you want to hear, that's a broad question...what would you like to know?

I wasn't really looking for anything too specific... just like a different angle from what I've already heard. Thanks for that though. I was thinking the main difference was just that M&T is just integrated better than the dual degree programs. The only thing I'm weighing is whether or not to apply to more prestigious and selective M&T or apply for Liberal Arts and Science Dual Degree which I thought was essentially the same. I might have a better shot at being able to study business / science dual concentration with that.

You mean LSM?

Follow your passion.

What would I say about M&T? the best part of the program is your fellow M&Ters. Say what you will about me, but the other 60 kids are stand up folks, and I'd share a beer (and have!) with any of em. Not to mention the under and upperclassmen. You can take classes anywhere, but there's something to the blend of dynamic yet balanced individuals. The M&T's tend to be smart, sarcastic, critical, and down to earth. Some study to much, some party too much, they won't all be your best friend, but they're definitely the program's greatest strength.

Unlike huntsmanites. Yuck.

so profound, is that why you almost quit?

I almost quit so I could be like my role model, the one and only meng cheng
