Calling All Wharton Internal Transfers

Could you please pm me and help answer a few questions?
I want to Internally Transfer to Wharton after freshman year and I need some expert advice.

First, What classes did you take during the freshman year before you transferred?

Second, What else did you do besides maintain a high gpa?

Third, Do you have any advice for me?

Thank you

Why not go for dual degree? I think internally transferring is just as hard as being accepted to do a dual degree, so might as well do both!

Looking at your post history, it looks like you’re an entering freshman next year. What made you decide you wanted to transfer to Wharton before you even arrived? I don’t know how difficult SEAS is exactly, but I’m pretty sure it will be a lot harder to maintain a 4.0 there than it would be in CAS.

yes, but arnt all college frosh classes essentially the same?

I’ve been thinking about applying for a internal transfer for a dual degree too. Any answers or info would be fantastic.

No, not all freshman classes are the same. Not only are engineers required to take more credits (at least 4.5 first semester and at least 5 every semester to complete enough credits to graduate as opposed to only having to take 4 a semester in the college for many majors), they usually will take almost all science classes during the first two semesters which are curved. Also engineers take different sections of some classes (like intro chem) which are curved lower than the same class taken in the college. The workload is reasonable if you manage your time well, but many freshman do not know how to do that yet.

haha ok. I believe you. Still, I know it is possible to transfer from SEAS into Wharton. My question is how?
