<p>i had a 1910 but a 30 on my ACT..and like a 4.39 weighted GPA..but i have somewhat good ECs and volunteer stuff...and my essay was bomb (or so one of the UCLA admissions counselors told me) but yeah..</p>

<p>i sent it to her (she's really good friends with my counselor) and she read both of my personal statements. one of them made her cry, and the other one made her clap and hug me. so yeah..they were good. lol</p>

<p>I got it a few days ago. 2390 SAT, 4 AP tests, top 10% in a class of 500-600, UC GPA is like...4.5 I think. </p>
<p>Not many volunteer hours (Maybe 100 total), one leadership position in FNHS, but I've been in Math Club for 3 years, and Science Bowl for 2. </p>
<p>My essays basically sucked. I wrote them in like...2 days...</p>

4.2 GPA, 5 AP tests (all 5s) , 2280 SAT. Top 1-2% in the class (around 650) and focused ECs. </p>
<p>I read on their website that only 100 out of the 1000 kids they invite actually get the Regents though :(</p>

<p>Also, when they said they want two copies of the recommendation letter does that mean they want two sent in the same envelope, or two seperate envelopes sent (my teacher doesn't want to fax them).</p>
