Please don't be offended, I'm not applying to one of the colleges based on which admits more students..I'm solely focusing on my intended major, what I wish to pursue.

But i was wondering how the admissions rates compare.

But i was wondering how the admissions rates compare.

CAS- more likely to be accepted if you are better on paper
CALS- more likely to be accepted if you are passionate and come off as a human, not a machine

HAHAH and how will they distinguish (other than being bad on paper)? interviews?

Um, it gets subjective, but basically the jist they get on how you come off in your app (essays, poss. interviews). If CALS sees you're crazy about them, you stand a much better chance. This in mind, ED to CALS is a huge booster.

i also am deciding between CAS and CALS! the thing is that for me i have the passion (seen in the essay + ECs), the activities (essay + EC), the courses, and the grades, but NOT the SAT II's. So in the end i decided to apply for CAS because i'm so pressured about CALS. It also depends on how easy it is to transfer within colleges. Do you know anything about it?

Wait what? CAS requires SAT II's, not CALS. You should be applying to CALS if you have the passion, grades, and EC's, and CALS offers your major.

soo..anyone know the admission stats for both of them?

Those internets are tricky and what's this google thing?
