CALS decisions

I applied to general biology in CALS and sent in my application on I think Dec. 20. I haven't recieved any word at all from Cornell since then. Is not recieving a rolling decision a sign that you will probably not be accepted, or do most decisons not come out until April 1? Does anyone know the truth about this matter?

"Cornell does not comment on rumors or speculation." --Cornell ..... Some say the best are accepted first...others say that it's all random

Haha, Cornell is MSFT now?

did anyone else that applied general biology get their letters yet? Also, do people only get accepted during the rolling period, or can they get denied? I'm not sure if most people got accepted yet to the rolling schools or if most people still did not find out.

just wait it out a few more days.. i'm in the same boat as you- i don't have incredible stats but many people with lower stats than me have gotten likely letters/acceptances already. i dont know how they do it but youll know soon

im in the same boat too... but im more inclined to think that im rejected. i think CALS already mailed the decisions to accepted students. But then again, i submitted my application at the last moment.

I just got my acceptance last Thursday, and the next week or so is still sooner than the people from the regular non-contract colleges know. I applied to animal science, because 1) I think I'll like it better than general bio, but also because 2) I figured way more people apply general bio than animal science, giving me an edge

Yeah, I'm curious too. Does everyone find out in late March then??

Maybe it is the fact that I live in Indiana that I didn't receive any notification yet. Are you sure all of the letters of acceptance have already been sent out? I'm sure there are at least some people that will get accepted that didn't get a letter yet.
