CALS prompt

<p>The prompt says:
How have your interests and related experiences influenced your selection of major?</p>

<p>Am I still allowed (or supposed to) to talk about why I want to go to CALS or do I have to strictly adhere to the prompt and write only about the major that I am interested in...?</p>

<p>Oh, and undergraduates can't major in specific subjects like i dunno... molecular biology right? If they want to study the subject they would have to major 'biological sciences'?</p>

<p>If I remember correctly, I wrote about why bio sci at CALS/Cornell specifically would aid me in my admissions process for vet school. I think I also briefly dabbled in a specific concentration, although that was probably just a single sentence. So, to answer your question, if it makes sense to include “why CALS?” then I don’t see it hurting your chances, but at least try to make it mostly “why Bio Sci?”</p>
