CalSO!

Which CalSO dates did everyone sign up for?
How important is it to get an early date to sign up for classes?

I’m missing a senior class trip that happens to fall on the date I signed up for, so is going to CalSO early worth missing the trip? (It’s only a theme park soo…) I wouldn’t be able to sign up for any other dates until the end of June since there’s stuff like graduation/prom/etc.

I'm signing up for the June 13-14 one (college of chemistry). Going to miss graduation rehearsal, senior pool party, and all that crap.

College of Letters and Sciences CalSO
June 20-June 21

I graduate on June 16 so it fits nicely into the schedule.

June 10-11..
haha my prom is on the 11th...i'll have to hurry back..

June 10-11, graduation on the 8th, gonna spend the night out and come back on the 9th and pack bags and leave on the 10th.

why do they make check-in so early, it's tough if you're out of state

So that they can make some extra cash because most of the out of staters come a day early.

June 10-11. i wanted to do the first session, but my graduation is the day before it starts.

Don't think anyone mentioned the significance of going to an earlier date. Can anyone answer that? I know we pick classes during CalSO, but does that mean ppl who go to a later CalSO has an disadvantage?

Actually, they do have a disadvantage because the later the CalSO date, the later you register for classes.

I see, thanks.

I think I'm going for the June 10-11 one, since my last day is the 7th and graduation isn't until the 13th. Haven't signed up yet, though.

I think I'll be going for the 6th/7th. I graduate on the 9th so it shouldn't be a problem. I know a guy going to that one, so at least I'll be guaranteed to have someone to talk to. It royally sucks to eat alone at one of those dining halls.

ahh.. i'm flying out from jersey.
i'm not going to know anyone =(

I am going on the 9th of June (College of Chemistry.) I would rather go earlier than later:)

-A

Geez, everyone is going mostly on the 06/10-11 for Letters and Sciences. No 20th people?

im going on June 6/7, flying in on the 5th from San Diego

june 24/25 (college of chemistry) flying on 22nd from st. louis

earlier, the better. you want to get your classes early. it's not that you CAN'T get in. it's just that the discussion time won't be the best for you.

yay darkhelmet! someone else who is going on the 24-25.. most people i know are going on 20-21.. haha i'll be there a day early so i don't have to worry about being late.. gah
