Hey guys, so I just submitted my SIR to Berkeley today and now am waiting for the confirmation so I can sign up for CalSO, ect.

Since attending CalSO gives you priority for registering for classes, I was wondering if it's better to go on the earlier dates rather than the later ones (in July)? Do people in the earlier sessions get priority over people that go to the later ones? I'm in L&S btw.

ummm so does anyone know?

From what I’ve heard, yes. Because you get to pick your classes the day that you go to CalSO, the later you go, the later you pick.

thundercat’s right. go as early as poss

Are you a transfer?

I signed up for the June 9th orientation last night! Earliest one they had, but pretty inconvenient that it’s on a Thursday haha

So it really does matter? I can’t go the first week after school ends so I’m stuck with either the 20-21 or the 24-25. Is it likely that I will be unable to get some classes?
