Importance of CalSO

<p>I live on the east coast and even though I really do want to go to CalSO, I just went to Berkeley and money is a little tight. </p>

<p>I'm an engineering major, so my CalSO dates are June 3-4, June 7-8, and June 21-22.</p>

<p>I cant make the first two dates because of finals and graduation. Is it worth it to even go to CalSO in terms of scheduling classes if I'm only going to make it to the last session anyways? Will I be any better off if I go than people who dont go and schedule their classes in late July?</p>

<p>I skipped my graduation to go to attend the earliest CalSO from the south. I’m glad I made that decision, because I signed up for classes much earlier than other freshmen who attended later CalSO. However, I still recommend you to attend the last CalSO, as you’ll still most likely sign up for classes you want, and still sign up earlier than international students.</p>
