<p>Though Cal Tech is need aware for internationals as many schools are, they do tend to meet full need as they define it, for those that they do accept. Be aware that “NEED” is defined by the school by formula and not by the student or parents or other measures. Schools don’t take into account other debts, obligations that a family-- though professional judgement exceptions can be requested. </p>
<p>When you compile a list of schools to consider, make sure that you don’t include schools that absolutely do not have financial aid, merit aid for international students.</p>
