Caltech YESS program?

<p>I'm thinking about applying for the Caltech Young Engineers and Science Scholars program. I haven't heard a lot about it though, and I couldn't find much feedback on the internet. Is it relatively new? Could someone who's gone to the camp before recount their experiences?</p>

<p>I'm intrigued because it sounds like a great experience and it's also free, but it seems also geared towards minorities (I'm Chinese so doesn't really count), thought not as much as MITES.</p>

<p>The program is too short for me (three weeks) but I think I could easily get into it (being a real minority and all).</p>
