Cambridge Engineering or MIT engineering?

Can you guys share some thoughts about the 2 universities (location, quality, acceptance rate, etc)
Thanks

Cambridge as in the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, UK?

Yes

I mean, one is in the US and one the UK. That’s a good place to start. Seriously, these are two of the most highly regarded schools in the world. What sort of questions could you possibly have about quality?

I would personally give MIT the edge in engineering and Cambridge the edge in hard science, but that’s really splitting hairs - if someone tossed back the opposite opinion I couldn’t refute or defend either position.

Both are going to have acceptance rates in the random realm. By that they will both receive FAR more fully qualified applicants than they’ll have space for. Choosing among them can have an arbitrariness to it.

Actually I’d hazard a guess that the acceptance rates are not really comparable between the two. Admissions processes and culture are likely quite different in the two countries.

If you get accepted to both, I’d lean toward the one in whichever country you’d be working after graduation.

Thank you guys

If you get accepted to both, just flip a coin :]
