So if I signed up for a later Camp War Eagle session and I wanna do nursing, does that mean that all the good classes will be taken? I am not sure how it works but I am nervous that I won’t get any classes I want.
Assuming it is the same as last year, a fixed % of class space is reserved and prorated for for each Camp War Eagle session so it doesn’t matter which session you attend for registering for classes. If there are 10 camp sessions and 200 spaces for ABC101, each session would be allocated 20 spaces for registration purposes for that class. That said, Auburn does review the cumulative registrations as the summer goes on and may add/remove/expand class sections to meet actual demand.
MariettaDad is correct, unless they have changed something this year. My son was in the next to last CWE in 2013 and he was able to get his classes, not necessarily when or with whom he wanted but he was able to get them all. If you are in honors or in the band, you get another priority bump.
*** if you are in Honors or the band you “may” get another priority bump - I don’t know if that is still in place or if it counted at CWE.
Yes, they are all evenly allocated for the popular freshman classes/intro classes. Some of the more advanced classes - higher level foreign languages, some popular honors sections, may be close to full already, but very few freshmen have to worry about it. There is no priority bump for honors or anything else at CWE. Your counselor and advisors will explain it all thoroughly. You shouldn’t be worried about classes at this point.
