What dorms for Camp War Eagle?

I’m signed up to go to CWE on June 7-8, and I was wondering what dorms we stay in while we are there? I am hoping to live in The Village next year, but am highly doubting that is where they would put us for CWE! Any current/past students able to chime in and let me know where you guys stayed?? Also, is there anything else you felt you should bring with you to CWE other than the stuff they put in the letter? Thanks!

My daughter stayed in Lane in the lower quad. I don’t think she wished she had anything else with her other than what was suggested. Maybe a student will chime in with more info!

Hey! Glad you are coming to Auburn! They’ll most likely shove ya’ll in the quad. Its definitely not on par with the village and has the smallest square footage of any of the dorms (The hill is a very small improvement). Don’t have TOO much fun at camp (sarcasm is hard via text), Auburn is so much more fun regular semester-- excluding organic and biochemistry. WAR EAGLE!

The Quad is where they house students for orientation and it is perfect because of the location. If you compare the room sizes to most college dorms they are large. Also, the village is great, but our daughter said if she had to do it again she would have chosen the Quad for location and freshman experience. She also said take advantage of CWE to meet people - she is still in contact and/or friends with people from her group. She loved it so much she applied and was chosen to be a CWE Parent Counselor-we can’t wait to see her in action when we take our boys. War Eagle!

My d was in the Quad this past freshman year. She LOVED it because she was never more than 5 minutes from class and close to the library. She will live in sorority housing at the Village next year and says she will miss being closer to everything (library, fitness center, etc) though most of her classes will be close in Lowder.

I was at the irst CWE and everyone stayed in different hall sin the Quad. It was so much fun. Don’t forget to bring towels and flip-flops for the showers, just in case =D. Have fun!
