Does anyone know anything about Lightsey Bridge 1? My daughter is sophomore transfer student, and is thrilled she got on campus housing. We went for a tour last week and were a little shocked by the condition (from the outside) of these apartments.

Also, I've heard anywhere from 40 to 60% of kids live off campus. Is that true? If so, I can't imagine where because we didn't see much of anything past the campus itself.

ginan125, I will be living in Lightsey Bridge II. These dorms are actually better than they appear (I’m guessing by shocked it was in a negative manner haha). They are probably the nicest apartment building complex for upperclassmen (and are the newest apartments on campus).

And yes most people live off campus after their freshman or sophomore years. I’m one of the rare people that I live on campus my junior year. There are a lot of apartment complexes nearby that are serviced by the Clemson Area Transit buses. Here’s a listing of some of them: [Clemson University Off Campus Housing Service - Home](http://clemsonoffcampus.com/)
