<p>I got a letter offering to register barnard and columbia students for The Campus Laundry for a price. They pick up and deliver laundry and sew buttons and fix minor stuff on your clothes, but is it worth it? Or is it another one of those schemes like the linens thing?</p>
<p>I am at another campus but I use campus laundry and it is not that expensive when you add soap, coins for wash/dry and your effort. I love that they pick up at my room and drop off....it is such a nice thing to not worry about the laundry.....they do not do my dress shirts however.</p>
<p>It's for real, but I don't know anyone who used it. The machines are right in the building and you have a cash card so you don't need to worry about coins. Life here's not SO crazy you can't read in the laundry room for an hour and a half every so often. :)</p>
