what is student body like? what type of students attend Colorado college?
This is a small student body; with only 2000 people on campus in any given Block, it is easy ( and necessary) to meet almost everyone. So the campus is definitely friendlier than others with which I have experience. While this does not apply to everyone, a large number of students love the outdoors and take advantage of our location. CC has a reputation for being a liberal college, but I think much of that reputation is due to the ultra-conservative character of Colorado Springs. There are plenty of outlets for liberal and conservative points of view, as well as a civil political discourse. CC does have Greek organizations, but they do not drive the experience like many other colleges.
All in all, CC students are pretty creative and innovative yet pretty laid back. I think we inherit those traits from the faculty, who are really plugged in to the atmosphere of the college.
