Campus Lost and Found?

Sigh…D has lost her 2nd phone in a month! She THINKS it might have been either in a fraternity or while walking around campus w/ friends, making stops at the Ferg and RCS.

Is there a general lost and found on campus that we can call and check to see if anyone turned it in? If I have to invoke the insurance again, it is another $90 plus since it is the second time, she is off the insurance.

I have had a cell phone since they were ‘bricks’, and never lost one. Yup, I’m showing my age!

When we were there for Parent Weekend, we found some keys at the bus stop in front of Ridgecrest West. Our D ran them over to the lost and found at Ridgecrest South, which is where they had been instructed to take things. I’m sure there must be others though.

There is one at the Ferg also.

There’s a service at Uni Police, too: [University Police Department](http://police.ua.edu/services_lostandfound.html) . There must be TONS of stuff over time…

Based on our recent experience, each location/building has their own lost and found. Ask for a manager at various places. Was the phone a regular phone or a smart phone? And I am sure that she has tried calling and send a text to herself?
