Campus Village Vs. Arroyo Vista

Hi everyone, I’m planning to transfer to UC Irvine in the Fall of 2018(I know it’s a long way ahead) and I would like to know more about housing options for transfer students. Based on my research, a lot of transfers dorm at the Campus Village or Arroyo Vista, but there are not much info or helpful youtube videos to help me get an idea of how living there is like. Is one of them better than the other? Or is there any better options than these two?

For further reference, I will be transferring as a Bio Sci major hoping to get into Exercise Science, so I’m thinking CV might be better since it’s close proximity but I don’t know much lol.

Thank you!

Also, I’m a very social person and I definitely want to be in a place where it’s lively and not so secluded

Transfer for this year. Wasn’t given an option for housing at CV i’m pretty sure that’s only for continuing students.

Ah really? I guess maybe transfers went there after college. What are your plans for housing if I may ask?

Through the transfer housing guarantee app I got an offer for CDS for a June-June lease. Couldn’t do that as its not a Sept-Sept as I wanted. So now i’m just looking for housing through ucloop and facebook groups.
