Campus Visit

I was recently accepted to the General Studies program as a transfer student for the spring term.

I’m going to visit the PENN campus - specifically the career services center and the General Studies college - to weigh the pros and cons of attending penn.

I’m ultimately going to pick between UVA and UPENN G.S…

To all penn students - what do you recommend i do on campus? Where specifically should i visit? I was thinking about stopping by the library, etc.

hey jaekk99,
i know this is totally irrelevant to your question, but can you please check your private msgs? cause i sent you a msg last week and it'd be REALLY helpful if you could please help me. THANK YOU!!

In addition to meeting with the CGS folks be sure to schedule a meeting with your major department's undergrad advisor.

You should also try sit in on a class or two in your major. The course and room roster is here:

<a href="http://www.upenn.edu/registrar/roster/index.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.upenn.edu/registrar/roster/index.html</a></p>

A preliminary email to the instructor indicating your interest in sitting in on the class would probably be best, but I've seen a number of folks just catch the instructor in the hall before class to ask.

There's probably not much left on the shelves, but you can also drop by the main bookstore and browse the books for classes you're interested in.
