giving a campus tour

hi. my friends want me to give them a campus tour, and i was wondering what route i should take.

i'm planning to start on chestnut st where the bookstore is, and then walk wherever. please give your suggestions on which directions i should walk. thanksssssss :]

you could adapt the online tour route

http://www.upenn.edu/admissions/tour/

The bookstore is on Walnut, not Chestnut--don't start off the tour by getting lost!

good point - the drexel bookstore is on chestnut =p

Start at the bookstore, go to College Green and down to the engineering quad (which is surprisingly picturesque), then head back west, but go through Perelman Quad (maybe in one door of Houston and out the other) and go back to Locust, and march westward down Locust. go down 37th st to see ben franklin, the food carts, and the Quad.

Take 'em to 40th st and show the marvel that is FroGro.

You get the idea...

What's that building with all the Ivy League banners and the Creperie? Take them in there, it's really pretty inside.

that would be houston hall, and it is indeed pretty nice.

^ and was the first student union in the nation.

take them somewhere that they wont get shot, though that might be pretty hard in that neighboorhood

as for killing some time, is the ica (institute of contemporary arts) any good?

it's cool but there's a small entrance fee if you don't have a penncard

thanks everyone for all the help.
tenebrous fire, the info from the online tour helped a lot.
and johnny k, i went with your route. worked out fine, except that they didn't let me inside the quad cause i wasn't a resident -_-
