I have never been to Clemson, but looking at it online, it doesnt seem thaaat "pretty." Thoughts?

Well since no one else is answering, I'll take a stab at it. Clemson has a very pretty campus. Sure... it is not perfect. A few of the buildings are older and more institutional looking, but there are plenty of newer buildings that are just great. The library/fountain area is the center of campus and is just gorgeous! There are also a few historic buildings that add some charm. The football stadium is visable from one whole side of campus and is very awe inspiring. There is a large field in the middle of campus where students play frisbee & football and sunbathe. It seems to be a very vibrant campus. The size of the campus is great... not too big, not too small.

When my son and I visited for the first time this spring, we had just visited U of Miami also. UM's campus is like a resort, but my son still prefered Clemson. I think because it has more character. He was looking for the whole package... pretty campus, great school-spirit, friendly students, good academics & Clemson had everything! Time will tell if it will live up to his expectations.

Go to the Clemson Web site, Visitor's page and check out the Web Cam's some of the areas are really pretty right now - especially the areas around the fountain. My son, from Texas is enamored of all the trees.

I was at Clemson last week. I thought the campus was lovely. Maybe not the most beautiful... but definitely "pretty".

My2Angels said it nicely, the campus does have "character".
