What's the urban GW campus like? Is it lacking a centralized traditional 'campus' like BU, or does it have it's own enclosed area for dorms and academic buildings?

Its an enclosed area, the entire school is inside a six block radius and ~95% of the buildings in there are owned by the school. Then there is also the mount vernon campus which is like your traditional college campus.

You may want to go to the GW website, and at least check out the webcam. It shows Kogan Plaza, which is an enclosed park area, with flowers, fountains, walkways, etc. It's kind of the middle of the campus.

Refresh gives a good description. The park mentioned by hayden is small and unimpressive and not much green to it. DS loved GW and wants a city school, so campus was not a factor, in fact he really liked it. The buildings themselves are nice with impressive stiudent center and some really nice new dorms, but overall the campus is not much.
