<p>I was accepted to UCSB as a Comparative Literature major. For some reason I just didn't look into their English major at all, and now I'm really regretting it. Are transfers able to change their majors? They are both offered through the College of Letters and Science, and neither are impacted.</p>
<p>yeah, should have done it earlier though because the semester starts soon. you may need approval from the department. changing majors in the same college isn’t that difficult. but you may be hit with more pre-reqs and stuck with “pre-major” status if you didn’t complete all the requirements like you probably did for comparative literature. probably not a huge difference in pre-reqs though. </p>

<p>I talked to an adviser and it’s totally fine I just have to wait one quarter…I’m transferring from another UC so I think I actually have more of the lower-division classes done for English than Comparative Lit haha.</p>
