Hi.
I took the ACT out of America and the uni that I am interested in requires for me to send in all of the scores. I want to delete my April 2016 one. If I mail it to the address that I want my ACT score deleted, will they still send the form for me to sign all the way to my country? (UK) I would like for them to delete it at least by early October at the latest. I can mail them the letter in 2 days. Or is there a way to do this through email?
Thanks!
If a university require that all scores be sent why would you flagrantly disregard this?
You don’t think they’ll find out?

Educate yourself before you go off on people for no reason. Literally deleting the score from all records is an option, unlike the SAT.
“If you would like to delete a score permanently, so that it is no longer a part of your record at all, that is also an option. The ACT website says that in order to have the results from an administration removed from your record you need to send them a request in writing. Once they receive your request, the ACT will send you a form to complete and send back, after which they will permanently remove your record for that test date from their files, and all scores from that test date will be deleted.”
OP said nothing about lying.
@bodangles
I was well aware that the ACT allows for score erasure. Deleting scores then sending what is leftover is clearly not ethical. Just because the ACT allows it doesn’t mean its right.
@sgopal2 it’s really no different that cancelling an SAT score. Nothing unethical about it. It’s completely allowed by both the companies and the colleges.
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
@sgopal2 @guineagirl96 @bodangles As fascinating as your conversation is, none of it addresses the question asked. If one of you wants to start a thread about cancelling/reporting scores, feel free. However, the answers on this thread should focus on what the OP wants to know.
I don’t think most people are going to be able to answer whether the ACT will mail a form to the UK. Might be best to call them and ask.
