BC is my number one and I’m applying EA, i have a decent shot of getting in.

what happens if i do not get in EA? can i still apply RD? or is their some category where they just flat out reject you and you cannot re-apply?

A) EA is more competitive than RD. If you don't feel confident with your credential, best apply in January where additional testing and/or high Senior GPA might boost your academic profile.

B) BC is not a demonstration of interest school, meaning it does not care how much you profess that it's your first choice; so applying EA to show that it's your first choice is an empty gesture.

C) EA has three outcomes: First, acceptance; Second, rejection--about a fifth get rejected; Third, deferment, which means BC will reveal your credential in January and see how you stack up against the RD pool, and for this there is no additional application.

im definitely still going to apply EA ( i know its an empty gesture), but i doubt im in the bottom 1/5 of applicants, thanks for clearing that up for me
