Can any girl get into a frat party?

I hear people say if you’re a girl, you’ll get in. But how true is that? I’m a little bit bigger, not too big. I’m pretty but not the prettiest. I have a really fun outgoing personality that makes me friends with everyone. I’m just worried that even though I’m a girl, if I’m not the cutest one there would I get rejected and turned down? This would be at WVU.

My perspective is old, but I’ve never seen a girl turned away.

General frat party/night club advice - go with friends, do not get drunk, don’t leave the general party area without a gal pal, keep an eye on each other, and never leave anyone behind. Don’t go with friends who cant agree to that.

That was how I used to get in when I was in high school. Me and a male friend would go with a group of 3-4 girls and even though we were all 15-17 we never had any trouble getting in because “omg girls”

Please read this. You sound very naïve.

1 safety rule :Do not drink anything from a non-sealed container that has not been under your control the entire time you are at the party.

I’ve never been to a big party like West Virginia’s or in that case Tulane so I had no idea they were bad like that. I’ve been to a Temple one, Rowan a few times because that’s around where I live and Stockton once but they are really chill. I wasn’t sure how the bigger schools were lmao

Small school or large. It is a big risk. Yep, not much has changed. Back at UMiami, the TKE and SAE houses were the danger zones, with the Everclear punch handed out at the door. We only went during the first week of freshman year. The black fraternities didn’t have houses and parties were dance fundraisers/step shows on campus = no one trying to get anyone drunk.

I guess you’re right. I’m just not dumb enough to drink punch like that. Anyone can slip something in there like roofies or in your example, spike it with something like everclear. I like beer anyways and I hate getting trashed so hopefully I’ll be okay.

I’m sorry, but what an absurd concern. My parents are right when they say it’s much harder to make it in today’s world. It’s embarrassing that so many of my peers are more concerned about where and how to party than they are their education

WVU just like any big state schools which like many is a big party school you will defiantly not have to worry about getting into parties probably not frat parties either also dorms are lit. -Penn State visit with cuz experience

Excuse you, I never once said I was more concerned about partying than my education. I managed to go to parties and have a social life as well as keep a 3.6 GPA and take many honors classes. I didn’t choose West Virginia for their parties, in fact I almost chose UofTampa which is not a party school at all. I just chose WVU because there’s more social and campus life, yes that includes parties. It’s okay to have a little fun in your life and not be so uptight about everything. If I couldn’t get into a frat party I don’t care, I just don’t need to have the embarrassment of getting turned away.
