Can colleges I send my official SAT I score reports to see my essay?

I was just looking on the college board web site at my scores. Right there is my scanned essay that I wrote (lousy handwriting and all) . So my question is how much detail does the College Board share with my colleges? Do they get the scanned copy of my essay? Do they see how many questions I got wrong or skipped and in what categories? What does the official report that goes to the college look like? Can the college request greater detail since I've already authorized everything to be reported?

They won’t see how many questions you got right and wrong and all that - but they will see the essay and your essay score (out of 12) and they will use it for various reasons e.g. validity check on your application essay etc. Don’t stress though, it’s not weighted severely.

That actually makes a ton of sense. Do you know if the ACT plus writing also sends the essay to colleges? I can’t seem to find my scanned essay on their web site.

Sorry - I don’t know anything about the ACT. I’m international
Good luck with everything!

I’m going to bump this to see if anyone knows the answer to the ACT writing question I asked in my second post on this thread…

anyone??
