<p>LOL Stonybrook Alum by any chance. % places on that list is well within the margin of error even if it were an objective measure as opposed to the totally subjective nature of “which school is better”.</p>
<p>What has Binghamton contributed to modern medical technology lately?</p>
<p>Now I’m sensing some animosity. I don’t want to kick a bee’s nest. I think Stonybrook is a great school. Not just for Medecine. Marine Bio program is one of the best. Other majors are strong also.</p>
<p>Research output is not necessarily correlated to the quality of the UG experience. I can think of a number of schools that rake in grant funding whose UG experience pales in comparison to many other schools whose research expenditures and/or impact are minimal.</p>
<p>Sorry, but if you think any one USNWR ranking will answer that question you are sadly mistaken. I would only say that they are both fine universities within the SUNY system and each individual should decide which school is the best fit for him/her.</p>
<p>So was the years that Stony Brook was below Binghamton proof that Binghamton was better?</p>
