<p>I was curious to know how important the SATII's really are. Can solid scores on them, help balance out not so hot SAT scores in the admissions process? Thanks!</p>
<p>SAT 1 is definitely more important, sadly, since it's not as fair as SAT 2s. There's a reason colleges don't publish sat 2 averages in their brochures; the SAT 1 is still given a lot more weight.</p>
<p>Good SAT 2 scores will only help, but they won't really counteract a very low SAT 1 score.</p>
<p>Yea, so true that SAT I are much more important that SAT II's and that they can only help, and in my case it really did help since I had pretty average SAT scores which shows that I have talent in certain areas, so I felt pretty good sending my SATII's. :)</p>
<p>what about the other way around. can bad sat 2s have an effect on a student who has good sats</p>
