<p>All of the EA schools in the ivy league, yale for example, don't let you apply early decision or even early action at any other school, however if you get in it is not binding. if you apply ED at an ivy they will discourage you from applying EA to other schools</p>
<p>Just read the policies of each school in question for applying early.</p>
<p>If you apply ED, then you cannot apply to any other school early unless it has rolling admission, in which case you can send in your application any time after September.</p>
<p>Not exactly. If you apply ED, many schools do allow you to apply to EA schools, as long as their not SCEA. Princeton has been listed here as one of the few which do not.</p>
<p>Many folks, for example, apply to Columbia ED and U Chicago EA. That's perfectly legit.</p>

<p>In other words, would the schools to which I applied in ED share my information to find out whether I applied to more than one ED rounds?</p>
<p>I am not talking about the legal issue, since the only remedy seems that I need to deposit $500 or so to reserve the seat.</p>
