Can I apply to 2 bachelors programs at a university to be safe?

<p>For example, my first choice is nursing and second is psychology. Psychology is less competitive to get into. So, could I apply to both majors in case I don't get into nursing?</p>

<p>If it matters, the school in question is Penn State but I'm wondering about other universities as well.</p>
