Can I apply to 2 different majors at the same university?

I am wondering whether in Grad School application, can I apply to 2 or 3 different majors at the same university?

Eg. Operation Research (Engineering School),Operation Management (Business School), Information Management and System (Information School)

Just an example of related program but in different department, which have some cross over in some research area I am interested in. I will be happy if I can get into anyone of them. When we submit application, do we submit to the university as a whole? or do we submit seperately to different department? Will they care if they know that I submitted application to more than 1 department at the same university?

Yes we can!

Northwestern only allows an applicant applies to only one program. So you may want to check with schools if you can apply to multiple programs.

I known university of florida has multiple program (and degree track) offer.

To the OP:

Not only do many schools allow you to apply to multiple majors, joint programs often times actually require that you do so (and get into both). For example, if you want to get into the dual PhD program at the University of Arizona in Near Eastern Studies and Anthropology - two fields that clearly have some overlap - you have to apply and be admitted to both programs.

DUAL Ph.D. Degree Program in Near Eastern Studies and Anthropology

A lot of times you will be allowed to apply to multiple programs, though they often require you to pay the app fee for each department you apply to.
