I have to apply to my college via Common App by December 1 to be considered for scholarships. I assigned my 2 teachers for recommendations, but one of them did not start her’s yet on Common App. Will she still be able to submit her recommendation letter on Common App after I apply, since I already assigned her?

This answered my question! I was freaking out omg. @skieurope So as long as the letter is submitted by the January RD deadline and I submit by December 1st, I will be considered for merit scholarships from the college?
No, your teacher will most likely be given a few days’ grace period but the recommendation needs to be submitted soon after the Dec. 1st deadline for merit scholarship consideration. She cannot wait for the Jan. RD deadline.
@riverboat I have all the required letters submitted. One is an additional teacher and the other is an “other recommender”. Would it be okay if they sent the letter within a week of December 1st?
