I have a bit of a unusual problem, see I took 2 AP courses previous year and was not able to score well in them due to lack of prerequisite knowledge. And when I retook them this year I was able to score well. But I do not want colleges to see my previous year scores so I wish to cancel my score since withholding each score will cost a lot. But when I was filling the form it asked only for the course which I want to cancel and not the year. So if I cancel the 2 courses will my score of 2016 will also be canceled ?
I personally do not know, but I believe you should call the College Board and get the answer straight from them if you cannot find pertinent information online.
I don’t think there is a way to cancel the scores. you will have to withhold them.
On the app you self report the scores. When you are accepted and decide to attend somewhere you send the scores to the registrar for credit. If the school doesn’t give credit, you don’t even need to send them in.
There is a way cancel your scores and you have to fax them a form ! And I contacted college board at least two weeks before and they haven’t contacted me yet. And will self reported scores be valid ?
Of course, self-reported scores are always valid! I’ve never heard of such a fax form before; I only know that you have a few days to cancel your SAT scores (but you’re not allowed to see them before), but I don’t know about APs.
Ok ! But I am still waiting on the email from college board !
