I got approved by UC Davis for the TAG and I want to change some courses for winter and spring quarter. I got rid of 2 courses that UCSB requires since I decided not to apply for UCSB and I added one new course and changed some orders. So I asked one of the counselors whether I can change the courses or not, and she said my TAG contract will be canceled if I change even one course. But when I asked UC Davis Rep., she said it doesn’t really matter. I believe UCD Rep. is correct, but I want to double check it. Is i t okay to change the courses that I mentioned on the UC Davis TAG? I am still finishing all my IGETC and assist.org courses even after changing courses.
No, you can change your planned courses and note in the TAU in January. A problem will arise if you end up leaving out a course that s required for the TAG.
Does “course that’s required for the TAG” mean the prerequisite for the TAG or the classes that I said I am going to take in the future in TAG? I finished all the prerequisite courses for the TAG. I just asked another counselor about this again, and she said it doesn’t matter to change the courses for winter and spring. I am super confused now.
Required means prereqs for your TAG or your major. As long as you have them all covered, you’re fine.
