Hi! I am an international student, and our school basically has no official college counselor nor does it have anybody who’s had an experience with the college admission process for schools in the US. I could choose my principal, but she is new and has only been our principal for less than two months. I know, however, a teacher (never taken his class, but he’s the school newspaper adviser and knows me and our school curriculum pretty well) who kinda has a little bit of background on this and who knows me pretty well. Can I choose him as my college counselor?
