Hello~

I have a question about my major

I was admitted in econ for fall 2007, but I want to also major in IS

Is it possible?

econ and IS are both in H&SS ....

I heard that when students in econ cannot stand with hard curriculums

in econ, they used to move to IS.

Is it true?

Please let me know~

In order for you to add Information Systems, IS has to be your primary major. In addition to this you'll have to apply to the IS department (all of this info is on the IS website). If admitted you would then have to have econ be your secondary major. If you are serious about this you should contact someone at the school who could give you better input (policies change all the time...) I have heard that students do transfer in and out but I don't know how many or any specifics

《http://is.hss.cmu.edu/index.php?p=admission&s=admission&t=Admission see internal transfer info》

yeah, spentsnaz is right, IS has to be your primary major
