Hello

As the title says, can I fail non-UC transferable class without affecting my admission (UCSD SIR'ed)?

The course is only CSU-only-transferable class which I took it purely for fun.

But I'm currently overwhelmed by other major required classes that I really want to skip

the final project and spend the time for the major required classes.

Also, anyone know who got D or F on major required classes and still got into UC's?

Thanks!!

Whats your gpa with the failed course included

I’m fairly certain that failing a non-transferable class should not matter seeing as it’s non-transferable. What you should be very concerned about is failing the transferable class that is also a major pre-req.

It shouldn’t matter as it’s not UC-transferable. But call them just make sure.

Thank you all for replies.
I confimed with UCSD that it is okay to fail non-UC transferable class.

Here’s the email I got

Dear Hyun

If you are a transfer student and fail a non-UC transferable course your GPA will not be affected. Please include your full name, date of birth and application ID or PID number in all future correspondence.
