I have a 3.95 unweighted and 6.0 weighted GPA, 2000 on SAT, and 31 on ACT (and I'm going to use my ACT scores, not SAT... also I plan on taking it again until I get 33). I'm in the IB program and I don't have any extra-curriculars. Would there be any colleges that would give me a full ride, maybe even a stipend?

Five years ago, I had very similar stats and there were a couple top-100s that offered me full ride. One of them was actually my dream school before my ambitions got a lot higher.

The types that are most likely to offer you a full ride also tend to have the easiest applications. If you get any offers from an decent place (probably only known locally) to fill out an essay-less application for free, they’re probably your best bet.

When you say “full ride”, do you mean free tuition? or do you mean tuition, room, board, books?

If you mean tuition, room, board, books, then there may be a few third or fourth tier schools, but not probably top 100. I don’t know what school the student is talking about above, but I don’t think that school is now offering a free ride…at least not for those stats.

There are a few top 100 schools that give free tuition for those scores.

Are you a senior? If so, then time may be an issue since some schools require that you have a high score before a certain date.
