Can I get a job in NY after UCSB?

<p>I attended a college on the east coast but was very unhappy with the particular school. I am possibly looking into transferring into UCSB, but if I wanted to get a good job in NY, would it be possible? I would think that since UCSB is a social school people would be interested in living a big social city like that..</p>

<p>New York state recently banned all Californians so, no.</p>

<p>In truth, I am confident UCSB grads work in all 50 states.</p>

<p>I attend UCSB and just attended the career fair last week. Many of the companies have offices in New York. I spoke with one girl who was a rep, and she graduated from UCSB and then worked in New York her first year after graduation. Several of her friends moved to New York as well. </p>
