Can I get in?

I am white male and a junior in a private high school in Maine. Actually, right now I am studying abroad in Austria, but I need to start thinking about college. I have lived in Maine my whole life and have always been aware of Bowdoin. I know it very difficult to get into, can I get in?
My info:
-I have taken the most difficult course load my high school offers, includes several honors courses-- but my school doesn’t allow AP courses before Junior Year. Now that I am studying abroad, I am only taking one class from my school in America and none of the classes I take here can transfer to the US. So this year, I will only be receiving one grade that will cover 6 credits (it’s complicated).
I am guessing my average will be, by the end of my junior year, around a 92 (I have no clue about GPA).
-I have taken the SATs, but don’t plan to submit the scores (I got a 2000), so let’s just forget about those, Bowdoin doesn’t care whether or not I submit them, right? (but let’s say I don’t submit them anyway)
-I have played varsity soccer since freshmen year, I have played lacrosse two years-varsity one year, I play the saxophone, have always been on Student Council, Outing Club, International Club, I manage the Blood Drive at our school, attended the Young Leaders of Maine Conference (a conference that invites one outstanding student from every high school in Maine), have worked as an intern for a non-profit (the FOCP)-- and assisted a well known archaeologist from Brown Uni., taught English as a second language to university students in Radjahi, Bangladesh, I am now studying abroad in Austria (and loving it!).
-I plan to take as many APs as I can this coming fall, and work as hard as I can–probably hold my 92 average. I am also taking the SAT again, and may submit them.
-I’ll have good recommendations.
-I should interview well.
-I plan to apply ED on Nov. 15, 2006

Can I get in?
Any people who did get into to Bowdoin?
Thanks.

to one study abroader to another--- you have a good shot my freund. (haha! I knew you'd like that one)

Danke! Ich hoffe ich werde, I hope I will.

Your resume looks good, and I think its a great idea that your applying early decision, but realistically no one can estimate the odds of you getting in. You should be a solid applicant, but only the admissions committee can determine your fate.

You sound well qualified.

thanks, anyone who did get in?

I'm in early decision.

KSolow:
What do you think is the thing that got you in? high grades, SATs, sports, talent, race, something unique?

Hmmm. I think I was accepted because I'm a well-rounded and balanced student. I have high grades (3.98 GPA, 2/300) in challenging classes. I was X-C captain, though not a superstar. I'm very involved in student government at the local, regional, and state levels. I am also involved in Mock Trial, Math Team, and Latin Club and have won Mock Trial awards. My essays were strong in that they reflected my true character and I assume that my recs were good too. I didn't end up submitting my SATS because my score (2050) wasn't that high and I didn't feel that it would enhance my chances greatly.

thanks, wow-- congratulations on your acceptance!

RP--
Your resume is quite impressive. You are amazing and I have confidence that you can definitely get in...just don't take my place!
Keep up the good work.
-guess who?
