I’m really scared about my C+ in ap physics but I took it in my freshman year and it was just a lot of hard work and it was hard for me as I was adjusting to the rigor of Highschool

Do I have a chance to get into any 8 year medical programs???!

I’m sorry but I don’t think you have a strong chance. Those programs are the most competitive programs in the entire education system. You don’t have a strong enough GPA. It’s not just the C+, you’ve gotten Bs every years of high school, and quite a few of them. You can still apply, but it’s doubtful you’d get into them.

I don’t understand how you can have a 3.9 unweighted with several B+'s and one C+.
8-year program are SUPER selective and hard to get into.
Most of them have conditions that mean that, if you make it through them to med school, you’d have made it to med school anyway…

note that the C+ may be mitigated by the fact it was taken freshman year, but on the other hand since it was AP Physics and a freshman has no business being in AP Physics, they’ll consider that it was either stubborn parents or immaturity, plus general hubris, which aren’t positives. They’ll see the rest of your application in this light and wonder how much what you did was due to your parents pushing-pushing-pushing.

Your medical EC’s are excellent though.

Have you run the NPC on all universities you’re considering?

If you want to decrease stress, I’d recommend choosing a LAC where your stats clearly place you in the top 10% students. This will increase the likelihood of getting A’s and decrease the likelihood of weedout classes.
