Thanx for reading my app. guyz and if anyone could tell my admission % chance it would be very very helpful. Any kind of advices are welcome.
Thanx.

yes considering you are an international student..those are pretty good scores..infact i would even suggest you to apply to an ivy leauge like Columbia or something..you have a good chance =]
good luck

actually, I'm going to disagree with desi_chick because you're an international and that puts you into a much more competitive pool of applicants, which means your 2140 would not be nearly competitive as any other American's 2140. However, from the list above, CMU, GT, VT, and UVA are most likely to accept you no problem. Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/594159-cmu-emory-oxford-emory-wustl.html

i agree with tsh1226, i think you are in at those four schools, but MIT and Stanford may be a reach since your pool of applicants will have quite superb stats. Although I say this, I believe if you up your score in december then you will have a muich more solid chance of getting in as an international student.

i'm in the same situation as you! international student with father on h4, but applied for greencard. i think the sat hurts a little, but some people have told me that it's easier to get into schools as an international and some people have actually told me the opposite.

so i really don't know. but try and see how you do! good luck!

Thank you guyz
it helped me some what
but I am in the same confusion as i was before writing this question
I think I should go with less chance cuz its 2-1 right now
anyway guyz thanx for ur time
i hope i get into MIT........(again jus hoping)

Because ur ECs are weak,

MIT-reach
Stanford-reach
Caltech-reach
UC-berkeley-high match or match
Carnegie mellon - match
UVA -OOS/high match
VT - safety
Georgia Tech - safety

Will these EC's help in any way
Model UN - treasurer
FBLA (future bussiness leaders of America)
Chess club

model UN treasurer may help with leadership, but as i've talked to adcoms they say they know that most clubs barely meet and the title of officer does not really mean that you do much. It can help, but not by much

I want to major either in computer engineering or aerospace engineering
can anyone suggest a good school other than the schools i am applying to

MIT-high reach
Stanford-reach
Caltech-high reach
UC-berkeley-match
Carnegie mellon - match
UVA -math
VT - safety
Georgia Tech - safety

Assuming that money is not an issue and you are not applying for aid.

money is not really a major issue but it definitely helps

MIT - reach
Stanford - high reach
Caltech - high reach
UC-berkeley - Match
Carnegie mellon - Match
Stanford - Reach
UVA - In
VT - In
Georgia Tech - Safety/ IN

Goodluck!
