Can I get into Georgia Tech

I am an in-state student of Georgia
(My father has worked in Hyundai GA plant for one and half years and pays tax for GA government.)

but my first language is Korean and I graduated from a high school in South Korea.

I've never attended any school in the U.S or in any English speaking countries.

My GPA cannot be calculated but the class rank is on the Top 20%.

My SAT scores are Critical Reading 560 Math 800 Writing 530. CR+M 1360.

Can I get an admission from GT?

That depends on your essay too…You shouldn’t have any problems due to SAT Scores or School performance. Did you do the essay justice?

BTW decisions on March 9th…right??

@hem19941 Yes. March 9th.

I don’t know I wrote the essays well. I just tried to do my best.

I really wish to get into GT owing to the tuition. I got admissions from some out-state schools but I cannot afford them. Very nervous with a little hope for GT.

You have a really good chance of getting into GT.Don’t worry, just keep ur fingers crossed. Good Luck!!
Have you decided a major yet? I’m guessing it’s engineering coz of ur high maths score

I hope a 20% rank from a Korean school equates to a 3.7+… in which case it becomes a high match.

@hem19941

Thank you. and yes. my intended major is Electrical Engineering.
I wish my math scores will be helpful for my admission.

@Catria

Thank you for letting me know that.
There is nothing that I can change for my GPA. I hate my GPA ,too…
