Hi,
I score an 1380 on the SAT and a 16 on the ACT. I have a 2.81. I have been a cheerleader for twelve years and varsity captain this year. I am also in interact club. It is my life long dream to go to Harvard. Do you think I'll get in?

Unfortunatley no…sorry

There’s a chance!

Good luck =) and very nice on being so committed to cheerleading.

ElMastermind, are you serious?!

Yes, of course! Never know…

I believe that, if you are serious with this question, you should know that you would probably fall under the Ivy League Athletic Index, which gives athletes a break with respect to academic/testing stats. Even so, yours are too low, I believe, to meet those thresholds. Have you perhaps spent a little too much time cheerleading over the past 12 years and not enough time studying? On this note, there is in our town a wonderful lacrosse site that always proudly publishes which colleges that their graduating seniors go to. You will have heard of none of them, mostly. It just says these kids spent way too much time playing sports, which is the dark underside of trying to “get scholarships” or become a sports star for recruitment – most kids never get close and end up drifting off to some pale version of what they initially dreamed.
