I am a California Resident and I’m going into my senior year. My GPA is only projected based on same GPA as last year. If I get a 4.0 this upcoming school year, I would get a 3.5 unweighted.
I really really want to get into UCR this next year I will also be aiming to retake my SAT this October and maybe squeeze a SAT Math Subjects test during November before I send in my application.
Calculate your UC GPA 10-11th grades only. Senior grades will not be considered for admissions and will only be used to maintain your provisional admission if accepted. Here is the calculator link: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Based on your unweighted GPA, test scores and EC’s, I would say you have a decent chance at an acceptance. What is in your intended major? Repost with your UC GPA. Good Luck.
I also have a 3.37 UC GPA
Average UC GPA for UCR last year was 3.77 which puts you around the 25th percentile. Average SAT score was 1739 which puts a little above 50th percentile. I would say the UCR is not a solid match but you have a good chance. Much will depend upon intended major and your essays.
With a 3.37 UC GPA UCR is probably a reach. I encourage you to apply because, kids with your stats do get in with strong ECs and essays. A stronger SAT would help put you over the hump.

If you apply, you’ll likely make it into UCM. Also, take a look at CSULB, Fullerton and Chico State, all good schools within your reach.
Good luck.
