<p>You’ll need to recalculate your weighted UF GPA. UF gives +0.5 points for honor(pre-IB) classes and +1.0 points for AP/IB/AICE/DE classes. If your unweighted GPA is 3.3, your weighted GPA will be something less than 4.3. </p>

<p>If you’re weighted GPA is less than 4.0, then that may hold you back. Your ECs and test scores are fine and may help counter a slightly lower than typical GPA. UF uses Holistic admissions, so it can seem a bit random.</p>
