Can I major in Art Practice after being accepted as undeclared in Arts & Humanities?

So I wanted to apply for an undeclared major to UCB to enhance my chances (and maybe to avoid a portfolio submission) Is it possible for my to major in Art Practice if I get accepted afterwards? Anyone know about the admission stats/ standardize testing scores of both majors?
Thanks in advance!

All Berkeley L&S frosh enter undeclared. Art Practice can be declared after completing the prerequisites and fulfilling the requirements described at http://art.berkeley.edu/programs/undergraduate-program/</a> . These include a 3.3 GPA, a portfolio, and a recommendation.

Thank you! I know that a portfolio is needed if I choose the Art Practice major, but does it work differently for undeclared major? eg. do I get to provide the portfolio after I am admitted?
Thx!

When applying for frosh admission to Berkeley L&S, you are applying as undeclared – the major you check just indicates your interest. Frosh are not admitted to majors in Berkeley L&S.
